What to see in Bordeaux?

Here are some ideas of activities you can do on foot, by tram or bikes during your breaks.

  • There’s so much to discover in Bordeaux! The famous water Mirror in front of the Place de la Bourse (Le Miroir d’eau) , the narrow streets of the historical town centre, the Pey Berland tower, the big bell, and la place de Quinconces are just some of the many places to discover. And that doesn’t even include the many museums.
  • Tour of ancient Bordeaux’s 6 doors: These huge ‘doors’ of the ancient city of Bordeaux from the 13th, 15th and 18th centuries remain intact, and one can see them dotted around the city. They were either a mark of opening or of defence of the city in those times. We will be able to visit some of them.
  • Discovering Garonne’s wharfs.
  • Walking on Bordeaux’s right bank.
